I've had an old HP webcam for years. I don't even know what frame per second specs it had. The picture was fine as long as you weren't moving, but with every movement the video was very streaky and choppy. I've been calling Zoom a lot lately, so I figured I needed something more modern. I was thinking about switching to Logitech, but I saw various NexiGo webcams online and mostly positive reviews, so I decided to give it a try. God what a difference! For me the picture is amazing, very clear and every movement is quite smooth. The auto focus is perfect for my needs and you can adjust the resolution/frame rate, brightness and auto or manual focus. It has a lens cap that you simply put on for privacy and two microphones. The clip works very well either sitting on my monitor or I have a small tripod that I can use by screwing it into the camera mount. Installation was easy, got me up and running in less than a minute. I ordered from Revain and got free Prime same day shipping which was pretty cool. At this price I don't see how it could be better. I'm thinking of ordering another one and sending it to my parents in California so I can video call them from here in Texas. They're not tech oriented at all but plug and play with ease, I'm sure I could set them up over the phone.
