I was thrilled when I saw the stainless steel stone stand on Revain but to my dismay it is just a misleading advertisement. The stand arrived in a box with Japanese inscriptions and some photos giving the impression that the box is used for both stone holders and a double sided diamond stone. Made in China. Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed that none of the metal parts are stainless steel (rods, washers or handles). All metal parts are galvanized steel with small spots of rust already formed on the threads under the handles. Otherwise the holder would fulfill its function. Just don't expect it to stay rust-free. I hope the company comes up with a stone holder made out of real stainless steel because the extra cost is worth having real rust resistance for a product that will be covered/sit in water during normal use. .Returned.
