Review on Convenient and Reliable Keyless Entry Remote Control for Dodge Chrysler Jeep - Pack of 2 by Ronald Lunn

Two packs received, locksmith programmed them. No problem with the 2011 Ram 1500. Worked for a good year. If the back popped out like others have said. I electrically insulated it, I don't care. Now when I put the key in the ignition it doesn't work. Sometimes it is. Sometimes I remove the key and turn it back, it works. I replaced the battery (which is a nuisance once sealed) but the results are identical. Not bad for $18 but problem is it cost me an extra $65 at the locksmith. I am torn. The dealer wanted $200 but I assumed the OEM would keep me for over a year. :shrugs:
