Will not be coded: Anti-Theft

Completely useless product. I'm in the military and bought this a while ago. I moved before I could program it at the dealer as that is the only way to program them for your car. When I finally found them after moving, I took them to the dealer. Dealer charges $52 for each FOB key for TRIAL programming. None of them could be programmed. So not only did I not pay the cost of the key fob, but this company cost me another $100 by sending me a product that cannot be programmed. Save money, DO NOT…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

1 year 1 month worked.

Two packs received, locksmith programmed them. No problem with the 2011 Ram 1500. Worked for a good year. If the back popped out like others have said. I electrically insulated it, I don't care. Now when I put the key in the ignition it doesn't work. Sometimes it is. Sometimes I remove the key and turn it back, it works. I replaced the battery (which is a nuisance once sealed) but the results are identical. Not bad for $18 but problem is it cost me an extra $65 at the locksmith. I am torn. The…

Keyless remote works with 2012 Ram Big Horn

My truck only had one remote so I didn't want to risk not having a backup. I contacted a few places beforehand to get a quote from another console. The cost was unbelievable. I saw them online and for the price thought I'd give it a try. Instead of taking them to a dealership, I called my local locksmith. He went out and within 10 minutes programmed both remotes and cut mini keys for only $75 instead of the big bucks the dealer was charging for just one remote. Both remote controls work…

I found out the price, it was worth it.

I found out the price, it was worth a try as the retailer charged $160 for a remote and then $54 for programming. I received them quickly and immediately signed up for their programming (at the dealership). About 15 minutes later the guy came back with my two shiny, reprogrammed remotes. Everything worked fine and I was only charged a programming fee. By the way, don't forget to ask her to make the key for you. I forgot at first, but I went back and spoke to the guy who programmed it. He took…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Technically it worked (I have a 2014 Dodge Caravan) and for the price I think it's worth the risk (hence 3 stars instead 2). However, when the dealer was programming the keys, he accidentally broke the tiny plastic clip that holds the key fob to the emergency key to which the key ring attaches. I can't attach this fob to my keychain so it's now in my emergency key box and not on my keychain (the dealer's OEM remote has a metal clip instead of the cheap plastic clips like these, so I'm guessing…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • It's ok

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I bought two packs of remotes and none of them work. We tried replacing the battery and they still didn't work. Our dealer spent 3 hours and 4 different technicians trying to program these remotes but they still didn't work. So I called customer service to get a refund for the product and the money I spent at the retailer to program these obviously non-working fobs. The CSR I spoke to initially insisted that I could not return the products and…

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Some imperfections

The good thing about them is that at least one is doubled.

DO NOT BUY! This is an updated review. Read the original below: ***Review updated April 19, 2016*** Due to an issue with delays in my previous review, I returned two originals through Revain (bought using Prime so easy to return) and ordered another pair. The new ones were connected in the same way as the first two. That's the only good thing about them. After 2 days, one of them came off the back again. It just wouldn't stay. We would have lost it if it weren't for the fact that when you turn…

  • Great for me
