Completely useless product. I'm in the military and bought this a while ago. I moved before I could program it at the dealer as that is the only way to program them for your car. When I finally found them after moving, I took them to the dealer. Dealer charges $52 for each FOB key for TRIAL programming. None of them could be programmed. Two packs received, locksmith programmed them. No problem with the 2011 Ram 1500. Worked for a good year. If the back popped out like others have said. I electrically insulated it, I don't care. Now when I put the key in the ignition it doesn't work. Sometimes it is. Sometimes I remove the key and turn it back, it works. I found out the price, it was worth a try as the retailer charged $160 for a remote and then $54 for programming. I received them quickly and immediately signed up for their programming (at the dealership). About 15 minutes later the guy came back with my two shiny, reprogrammed remotes. Technically it worked (I have a 2014 Dodge Caravan) and for the price I think it's worth the risk (hence 3 stars instead 2). However, when the dealer was programming the keys, he accidentally broke the tiny plastic clip that holds the key fob to the emergency key to which the key ring attaches. I can't attach this fob to my keychain so it's now in my emergency key box and not on my keychain (the dealer's OEM remote has a metal clip instead of the cheap plastic clips like these, so I'm guessing…
