As soon as I took it out of the box it broke. It wasn't in an area that affected usage so I decided to keep using it as I brought it to work and we needed to use it that day. On the second use some cheese ran out of the tortilla onto the quesadilla maker and was almost impossible to tear off. The surface is anything but non-stick - I had to scrape off the burnt cheese for a good 30 minutes and still haven't completely removed it. I've never been able to snap the handle of anything into the kettle, not even a basic quesadilla with minimal cheese. And finally, after the second use, the paint on the inside of the lid simmers like it's overheated and about to melt, so this will be a nice surprise for future quesadillas.
