When I first saw the dice I thought they were a great idea. I love metal dice (to be honest, if diamonds are a girl's best friend, dice are mine haha). I confess that I was skeptical about its shine. I figured the best I could hope for was a little glow in the dark star effect, nothing as bright as these pics. Basically, I wanted them because I thought they looked good and even gave off a side light. So I ordered them and they were delivered pretty quickly. They have been individually wrapped and come with a super soft velvet pouch so you can keep them on during your gaming sessions. I was happy to open and test them all! I noticed that the paint on the bones wasn't of the best quality. There were chips in the finish (not many, but enough to be noticeable). But when I rolled the natural number 19 on the first roll, I decided I didn't care. I've never rolled well in games and these dice have been a long time coming. Now it's time for the final test. Did they glow? I left them at home all day to give them the best opportunity. And when the time came, I turned off the light. I was damn surprised! They shone so brightly that I could see them and their number at night without lights. The light even reflected a little on my hand as I held it. The photos definitely don't go wrong when they are so vivid. In general, I am satisfied with the cubes received. I'm really looking forward to using them in my game tonight, I hope I don't get as many natural A's as usual haha
