Review on MAX SPACE Butter Mill Dispenser by Robert Edmondson

A gift that always makes people happy! I've had this product for a while now and it's GREAT! UPDATE 01/14/2018: This product is still available. Almost daily use. Was stored for about 2 years during the "transition period" :) A few tips for those who want to buy it. I still find this product better than sliced bread! Although it's started to lose the threads on the top through daily use and being washed in the dishwasher, it still snaps in well enough to work effectively. For $14 and some spare change, this was a great tool! Here's a trick to get him to break the ribbon. If you release the pressure behind the piston, it will disengage. Yes, there is some oil left behind the plunger, but if you're frugal and can't lose maybe 1/2 teaspoon of oil, it can be recovered with little effort. Referring to some of the other reviews I've read about this product, the main complaint is that they have to "cut the stick" to get the oil to fit. So Land-O-Lakes makes 1/2 sticks or their European butter is perfect! All in all, this is a wonderful product at a good price. I had two, this one and one I bought two years ago. I would say a total of 4.5 years of daily use, I don't mind if I have to buy a new one. I've spent a total of $25 on two of these so far, and yet I have to say it was worth it!
