Hiking and hiking is my passion and I drive almost 1,000 miles a month. Therefore, having a reliable and moisture-wicking pair of socks is of paramount importance to me. I'm picky as hell about my socks and will wear out the heel on almost every pair I've had - some within a few days. Tough Queen Bee is not only fun and colorful, it contains everything I look for when I go on an adventure. And I tested these socks when I ran the Texas Hill Country Charity Marathon and ran 27 miles in one day. Not only did the soft merino wool keep sweat off my feet, but the seamless construction also reduced chafing. Points in fear and I'm blister free. Plus, the ribbed support kept it in place for the 12+ hours I spent camping. I wore them for a few days of hiking over the next week and they still look brand new afterwards. There is no sign of wear throughout the healing process and even after multiple washes there is no sign of pilling. I love these socks. This is my go-to choice when in the market to complement my hiking gear.
