Perfect for updating an old Garmin GPS

Bought because none of the USB cables I already had worked to update my Garmin via PC. I read Garmin's troubleshooting guide and realized I needed a cable capable of data transfer (I didn't realize there was a difference!) It helped! As long as it was connected directly to the tower and not to a separate USB hub, it saw the device and let me update it.
