Makes typing difficult, NOT because of size

Punctuation marks aren't where you expect them to be. You have to get used to a completely different keyboard layout. Try 3 or 4 words and you'll find missing characters, CAPITAL LETTERS when you didn't mean them, and other annoyances. The CAPS LOCK key is right where you would expect the Shift key to be. This should be disabled given this non-functional layout. DELETE isn't in the top-right corner, so you'll hit a seldom-used key many times before realizing what happened. I'm a professional musician and for me a keyboard is a keyboard. I'm not a trained typist, but I can type faster than many who see the keyboard as a device with symbols for input, not musical notes. This keyboard is INCREDIBLY annoying with a layout that only superficially conforms to the QWERTY standard. Another major annoyance is that the CASE DOES NOT SUPPORT IPAD. There is NO WAY an iPad can be used safely unless propped up on the back of a table, which completely defeats the purpose of having something that can be used on your lap, for example. The iPad falls back and flies out of the case before you can catch it. There is no magnet holding the side of the iPad in place. I realize I'm using an older iPad, but literally the only benefit of this keyboard is that it's backlit, so theoretically I could be typing in the dark. It's a shame that the keyboard layout doesn't allow real typing. Save money and buy an Apple keyboard. You'll spend more, but the keyboard layout alone is worth it.

Pros
  • Detachable 7-color backlit keyboard
Cons
  • Appearance
