Low temperatures! useful for computers and accessories

Recently bought a nuc8 i3 beh (large) and while I like the form factor it was noisy. As soon as I started the web browser, the fan turned on. As soon as I started something, the fan jumped up. My goodness! So I bought this "housing with heat sink" and installed all the nuc components (except for the WLAN antenna) in it, and then I was left in peace. Not only did I have a temperature that fluctuated around 28-35C. I've run a few games to try and heat this thing to 28-35C to no avail. I installed a spinning 2.5" hard drive, I can hear it spinning and the drive ticking but no other sound. I used artic mx-4 CPU/GPU thermal paste and heatsinks on my NVME SSD. Note: I used soft tissue paper and nail polish remover to remove the old thermal paste. but it's worth it because it will extend the life of your computer in low temperatures.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Little things
