Cool housing Internal components

I bought the original Intel NUC8i7BEH because it has a powerful processor in a small package. The i7 8559U's GPU is the Iris Pro 655, which is also the most powerful Intel GPU to date. It is the ideal computer to play UHD Blu-ray discs with PowerDVD. It also features a Thunderbolt 3 port for external GPU expansion. With the NUC and an external nVidia GPU I was able to develop VR software and play VR games. However, the noise of the fan clicks since the purchase. More recently, after a lengthy…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Low temperatures! useful for computers and accessories

Recently bought a nuc8 i3 beh (large) and while I like the form factor it was noisy. As soon as I started the web browser, the fan turned on. As soon as I started something, the fan jumped up. My goodness! So I bought this "housing with heat sink" and installed all the nuc components (except for the WLAN antenna) in it, and then I was left in peace. Not only did I have a temperature that fluctuated around 28-35C. I've run a few games to try and heat this thing to 28-35C to no avail. I installed

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Little things

Now silence from my NUC

The install didn't go too bad. I first watched some installation videos on YouTube which helped me a lot. Installing very thin WiFi cables (sold separately) was a challenge. I used the eraser on the end of a pencil to snap the wires in place and that did the trick. I had to use a small piece of tape to secure the two microphones. After installation, which took about 40 minutes, my 8th Gen Bean Canyon NUC is now fanless and quiet, actually running cooler than with a standard case. I ran a CPU…

  • Compatibility - Designed for 8th Gen Intel NUC (Bean Canyon) NUC8i7BEK / NUC8i7BEH / NUC8i5BEK / NUC8i5BEH / NUC8i3BEK / NUC8i3BEH

Very good NUC jammer case. Requires some rework.

My 1 year old NUC was overheating and making nagging fan noise. I opened it up (thanks ifixit) and dusted off the heat exchanger, but it was still making horrible noises. Instead of replacing the fan (which can take a year), I decided to try one of these cases. In essence, the Turing is a large aluminum radiator. There are several holes for racks. You take the motherboard out of the NUC, clean the CPU and surrounding surfaces with toilet paper and rubbing alcohol, apply thermal grease, and…

Pros
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE - Aluminum heatsink enclosure with passive CPU cooling effectively improves heat dissipation for improved performance.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Amazing case: fans and cooling

This is an amazing PC case. I use it with NUC8I5BEH. I installed a 1TB XPG Gammix S11 NVME SSD (which comes preinstalled with its own cooler so you don't need to add a separate SSD cooler) and G.SKILL 32GB RAM (2 x 16GB) model F4-2400C16D-32GRS. I use it with Windows 10. It looks and works well. Really calm and with good thermals. Under normal load (web surfing, email, MS Office) I see temperatures around 40°C, under heavy load ie when watching 4K videos the temperature reaches 50°C. During…

Pros
  • Pure versatility. With stylish diamond encrusted panels, the Turing can be positioned vertically or horizontally as you prefer.
Cons
  • I will add later
