The compressor was installed in one day. A few things I noticed: 1. This block looks slightly different than the original GM block. He got into my truck with no problem.2. If your vehicle has a high pressure switch on the back of the compressor, you may need to purchase a new one or remove it from your old compressor. This unit does not come with a switch, just install the plug where it belongs. Mounted with a locking ring. So I bought a new one because the old one was stuck in the compressor. It costs about $18.3. The compressor comes pre-filled with PAG-46. From what I understand, GM HVAC systems primarily use PAG-150. Since I had flushed my truck's system, I decided to keep PAG-46. The system populated to the correct level. So far it works without problems. This compressor was a good deal, especially since I was on a tight budget. My air conditioner is blowing cold again!
