I have used this extra cable on many trips and it has survived hundreds of hours of use. I could not detect any distortions in the sound over many hours of operation. The length of the cord is perfect as it easily reaches from the car radio to my phone. It's also not too long where there's an extra cord, and it never gets tangled when I tuck it away. I used to use a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, but this makes things easier as it requires one less device to listen to music.
