Always annoying when a moisturizer doesn't last. What's the point if you feel great immediately after using it, but in less than an hour or so that part of the body will become dry again? Organic To Green Barrier Chap Guard stays in place while delivering nutrients. It doesn't take much, so there must be some life in that little pot. So far I've only used it on my lips and hands and it's been very helpful. It's better than all the lip balms I've used and some of the canned lip balms too. My lips stop hurting immediately and stay moist for a while. It's also good for my hands, although you need to have some rubbing and soaking time before you can touch things without leaving an oily residue. Or you can blot the excess with a towel. I mostly use it on the back of my hand, especially around my knuckles where I need help the most. This balm soothes redness and heals cracks. When I use enough to cover the entire area my hands look and feel much better and look a little less aged. As for smell, honestly I don't really smell lavender. Or it's so minimal that I just can't see it. It simply has the typical, very mild balm scent. Again, I really don't care. This stuff works and that's all I really care about.
