These things are perfect. The quality is fantastic, there is no electrical contact from side to side. They eliminate 100% ground loops or other electrical signal interference. They do not affect the sound quality. They work by sending a signal through a transformer. Actually one per channel. The transformer is symmetrical. That is, the input winding is identical to the output winding. This means that even though the device doesn't have a conductive path or any form of electrical connection, the audio it's playing on the other side is reproduced with 100% fidelity. For that price, you can plug it into ALL your speakers and amps, especially your car. It can actually save your radio from damage depending on how it's built. Here is a short usage example. You have a mobile phone to play music or navigate in the car. You plug in a 12V phone charger to charge your phone's battery while driving, but every time you do you hear a horrible noise or buzzing through your stereo. This filter is the device you need to fix it. No more buzzing or popping when you plug or unplug the audio cable or touch it with your finger. The value here is incredible too. I wanted to make some of these filters myself.
