Review on Running Waist Pack With Water Bottle Holder For Women & Men - Hydration Belt Fanny Pouch For Running, Hiking, Cycling And 6.1-6.5 Inches Smartphones by John Sharma

Decent belt, cheap water bottles

I received my belt today and wanted to test it out. Who doesn't want to test out their new gear right when they get it? Went on a 6 mile run. Here are the results. What I like. The belt doesn't bounce when running. It's comfortable enough and doesn't cause any friction or hot spots where it rubs. The belt isn't huge either. It's not too stylish, but at least I don't look like I'm running with a fanny pack. The water bottles stay put and I can pack my car key and any fuel in the front pocket. What I didn't like. The water bottles are cheap. I must have overtightened the top. I went to open the water bottle with my teeth (bad I know!) and the lid came off pouring water all over me. Luckily it was 90+ degrees outside so that felt good. Also my iPhone 7 was a little much for the front pocket. I could fit it in there, but the front pocket was stuffed with my car key, phone and fuel.Overall I'd say for the money, this belt will suffice.

Pros
  • The waist pack has reflective materials to help increase visibility during low-light conditions
Cons
  • Water bottle may interfere with arm movement during exercise

I was excited by the belt when I first opened it up. After putting water in the bottles, I realized it was too big with the straps pulled to the fullest. I am 5''10" weighing 158 lbs. with a 30" waist. If you are not a men''s sized 31"+ waist, I would not recommend this. However, it seems to be a quality product, so if it fit, I would consider giving it more stars with a much better review.
