The resulting skin is nice at first sight, but after rolling/sweeping it had many flaws. The skin obtained was considerably smaller in length and width than the 6ft by 8ft ordered; However, the product label/sticker on the back of the skin showed the correct item ordered, high quality cowhide leather. 6'x8'. Turns out it could have been a bad day during skin processing due to the inordinate number of cuts, punctures, and stitched "repairs," ranging from an inch to nearly a half foot. Unfortunately, some of them were visible and noticeable from the side of the fur. The long strip of suede running down the back of the fur was rough and dry, and flaked off a little even with light handling. The suede side also had an area of dark stain that was at least 3 inches long (not sure what the source was). I'm definitely disappointed that the only option offered by the seller was to return it for a refund. The colorway was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely consider keeping it if it was the right size and just had a few small man-made imperfections.
