My son has been using it for 3 months when he is a year old. Then it was too big. But now, at 15 months, it fits his mouth perfectly. His hands effortlessly hold a thick spoon and fork. The fork is not too sharp to avoid serious injury. The spoon is very suitable for scooping rice, meat and other foods. Also easy to clean! After 3 months of daily use, it still looks like new. This is a good product at a good price.
