Best Budget Detector

I spent a few weeks researching forums and videos about radar detectors before buying this radar, then I didn't want to spend $500 on something I had no experience with. So I got this one, I've had it for over a year and now that it's cheaper I'm thinking about getting another one as a gift for my dad. Easy to use. Check out Radar Vortex for the best directions. It picks up radar much sooner than other detectors, it's small and you can hide it over a mirror for best results. I'm now thinking of upgrading to buy a new one with arrows and give mine away. but overall the best budget radar. Although it has some flaws. The GPS version warns of red light cameras and speed cameras. As for the speed cameras, they can go off when you're on the freeway, thinking you might drive into the speed camera off the freeway and warning you very loudly. The radar I've noticed picks up k bands from car blind spot monitors. And you can't turn on the radar memory because the car is with you and you'll hear it again 1/4 mile down the road. But the GPS tagging is good for false alarms and has generally saved me a few times. I disabled K-band, my state police use ka-bands and lasers. However, once you're lasered it's too late with any device, but it's nice to know you're being tracked.
