Review on Meike MK-MT24 2.4G Wireless Close-Up Speedlight Macro Twin Lite Flash for Nikon F/Z-Mount DSLR Cameras by Brian Faxon

Easy to use and works great

Wow. I am impressed. It comes in a very nice soft case with space for each of the parts. Mounting rings are suitable for lenses with a 52-77mm thread. It also comes with flash legs that can also be tripod mounted. So you can use them for portraits and product images, for example. I decided to find out how easy it is to use by assembling and using it without reading the instructions. Yes I know. rash, right? Well it was easy to understand and it worked right away. I mounted it on my Meike 85mm f/2.8 macro lens on my Nikon Z 6. The first shot is the very first shot I took with it. This is a watch strap macro. 2nd photo of broccoli and the third photo of Nandina berries. The two flashes have LED indicators that you can turn on to see your target. The remote unit is also suitable, but the flashes are better placed. The remote has a hot shoe so you can mount another standard Nikon flash on top and add it to the mix. This device costs less than half of a Nikon device. Something else? Uses 2 AA batteries in the remote and 2 AAA batteries in each of the flashes. So no weird batteries to buy or keep track of.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
