Meike MK-MT24 2.4G Wireless Close-Up Speedlight Macro Twin Lite Flash for Nikon F/Z-Mount DSLR Cameras Review

Mine broke just after 6 months of use. I honestly hardly used them and they stopped working out of nowhere. Customer service was worst, even had to call China and they were not helpful at all.

If this product works it works very well. Navigating the interface takes a bit of getting used to as it's not as reliable as other flashes. However, like many others, I have reported that flashes randomly stopped working. Don't expect great customer service from Mike. My advice? Save an extra $300-$400 and buy the Nikon version, new or used; It is certainly more profitable and lasts much longer than a Meike product.

This is a great unit and once installed it works as advertised. So why 3 stars, you ask! It took a bit of fiddling with the setup as the instructions weren't laid out very well, at least for me. But a bit of trial and error did the trick. The device returns to standby mode too quickly while you are trying to select all settings. The BIGGEST issue is that the diffusers that come with them fall off easily and I lost one the second time around. I couldn't find a website or any other practical way…

I don't know why there are so few reviews - I was very pleasantly surprised with this product. I use it with a Nikon Z6 and I have to say that TTL works fantastic. If you've seen the Nikon R1C1, not only is it better, it's also half the price. The accessories you get for this flash are amazing, very well thought out (color gels with wide diffusers, regular diffusers, extra shoe mounts for single remotes, nice case and the list goes on.
