Too hard too sharp edges
Specter 4606 Spacer Kit - Blue Spacers I bought a set of these to use on my '81 Camaro 305 V8. The engine has 8.5mm braided core spark plug wires, so they were slightly larger in diameter than the stock wires. They also have silicone jackets that make them more flexible but softer than the stock models. Because the formed edges on them are too sharp, combined with a lack of flexibility that wouldn't allow the wires to snag without a lot of pressure, I damaged the wires when installing the spacers. Therefore, a new set of wires and dividers is required. Not good!
