There are a couple of things I particularly love about my new 7.3" extra-long The Friendly Swede replacement stylus. The first is its size, which is pretty close to the size of an old-fashioned pencil. Paragraph. What What I don't like about the new stylus is that it doesn't work nearly as well as my old 5.3" hybrid stylus with The Friendly Swede's replaceable micro-knitted nib, which has a wider tip. An old stylus activates the touchscreen on mine iPhone SE effortless and almost always on the first try. A new stylus usually requires multiple taps with a lot of pressure - and that gets tiring very quickly. Maybe the problem with the new stylus is related to my iPhone, maybe it's a screen protector, maybe it's a User error, but none of it bothers the old stylus, so it seems to me that the variable related to the new stylus more or less solved the problem. I took a spare nib from my old stylus and used it to replace the nib with a new one. The resulting mod looks a little weird as the diameters of the trunks are slightly different. Also, I lose the benefit of a thinner tip. But now I have a handy pencil-sized pen. And now both the old and new probes are working great. That's how they're supposed to work.
