I'm a college student and last year I started cycling to and from campus. I had three locks when I was in college and this one worked significantly better than the other two I had. All of my previous locks (Bell and OnGuard brands) were frozen and stiff and I had to cut them off. spend my money I leave my bike outside 90% of the time and the freezing and wet weather here ruins the locks. However. - this lock didn't seal at all, it still opens as easily as if it were new! - The combination took less than two minutes to install. It comes with simple instructions in multiple languages. - sits comfortably on the frame of my bike while I ride without getting in the way of pedaling. However, this is enough to attach them to all the bike racks I use. - Much more secure than a simple wire lock. A friend of mine picks up abandoned bikes for school every summer, and he told me that this lug-on-chain style is one of the hardest to break, other than the U-bolt lock. - This lock is cheaper than other flexible locks and I am much happier with its overall quality. This was the first product I bought from Terra-Hiker and I will definitely look for other products under their brand from now on. Overall very satisfied, I highly recommend this lock for its relative price and high strength.
