I'm a deep sea diver and in the winter I hate getting out of my wetsuit and getting cold so I was looking for a seat cover to put my dry suit on with at home, under the Running to the shower, getting clean and keeping warm, then removing the accumulated water from the seat so I can walk to the grocery store without looking like I've wet myself. It soaked up water well but sat wet on my seat for days and now it smells funny. Maybe my expectations were too high because it absorbs some of the water, but I was looking for a waterproof solution so I could lift the bottom of the seat cover and get a dry seat underneath. If you don't need that crazy waterproofing then it's well made, good quality, easy to install and I'm happy with my purchase.
