It is very effective in its function as a general cleaner around the house, it does a great job on stains in the kitchen and bathroom but loses its high cleaning power fairly quickly. After that, it works like a normal sponge. Such a short lifespan makes the product quite expensive. It's best to leave it on for hard-to-clean surfaces like the bathroom, toilet, and sink. But don't throw them away right away, they can be used in combination with other cleaning powders.
