Works low tone, questionable range, good reflection
Have this to add a dog to our current 1825 sport dog set. I'm not sure if it has the same range as the original 1825 collar and the beeper doesn't sound as loud as the original collar so be aware. This device is difficult to program to vibrate, beep and press. It's either a beep or a correction given the remote I have from Sport Dog. The new collars have a built in reflector which is great for a night's rest. We sent both beagles out into the field and it was harder to find the one with the collar. Don't assume it has a range in miles like the original that came with the transmitter.
