Best natural hair color

When I didn't have gray hair I only dyed with henna and I loved the colour, the shine that I get from henna dye. During this pandemic I have avoided using chemical dyes (first photo). I heard about this dye from a relative who has been using this line of products for a while, so I decided to give it a try. So I bought this two-step color primarily to get rid of gray roots. I've watched a number of YouTube videos on how to use it as I've never heard of or used indigo powder before. Most of the YouTube videos I watched and applied mixed henna and indigo powder. As this was my first time using this product I wanted to follow a two step process. It's a bit of work to be honest, but I'm very happy with the end result. I changed the gel time a bit and added more ingredients to the henna powder. So first I took a plastic bowl and a plastic spoon, added the whole bag of henna powder (my hair is shoulder length but thick), some boiled water and black tea and added that water to the henna powder. I also added a few tablespoons of amla powder. Then I let the mixture dry in a dark place for 3-4 hours. I applied henna and let it sit for 3-4 hours. I just rinsed my hair and didn't use shampoo or conditioner as I was going to apply indigo powder the next day. Washed hair (second photo) looks so orange, but I knew it was going to be orange. Then, on the second day, I mixed the whole pack of indigo powder with distilled water at room temperature and again left it in a dark place for no more than 30 minutes. I applied indigo paste and set the timer for 2 hours. I washed off the color and just applied the conditioner (third photo). I am very satisfied with the product and have already bought my second pack of this color. The only downside is that this process takes a lot of time and you need to devote a whole weekend to it. But it's worth it, because it does not contain chemicals and harmful additives. The indigo powder had a slight odor that didn't really bother me. Now that I know how well the color worked on my hair, next time I'll mix them together and apply in one step and hopefully get similar results. I might do another updated review on this in a few months. Hopefully this color lasts at least 2 months. I hope you find my honest review helpful and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.
