Good, inexpensive paper, but not suitable for brushes
I am a beginner and was looking for cheap watercolor paper to practice with. I'm fine with paper for this purpose, but one of the reasons I study watercolor is that it complements my handwritten lettering. Unfortunately for some reason my brush pens ink bleeds a bit on this paper so I think it's not a good place to write, which surprised me as my brush pens worked really well on my Canson XL papers and Strathmore. . So I'd say it's great value for basic watercolor practice, but not that great with brushes. It's not terrible, but less clear than I'd like.
