I am a regular tea drinker and many of my favorite varieties are only available as loose leaf teas. This is probably the best tea infuser I've ever used for its ease of use and thoughtful design. This allows you to brew exactly as much tea as you want in any vessel of your choice, and it's also easy to remove tea leaves and stop the brewing process at exactly the right time (this is so important for getting the best taste !). made of very fine stainless steel mesh and leaves no deposits on the bottom of my cup. It comes with a multi-purpose lid that fits perfectly over the top of the mug to trap steam and volatile aromas/flavors as your tea steeps, and also folds over to hold the infuser when you're busy brewing your beverage are finished to protect your table from streaks. The silicone and stainless steel are so easy to clean and can even be washed in the dishwasher (although I haven't had to do more than a quick rinse so far). I use this seriously every day now - it's a huge improvement over the brewers I've used before which used to spill leaves in my cup and were harder to clean! This one costs a bit more but I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to perfect their tea brewing experience. It is a real pleasure to use and has earned its place in my kitchen.
