Review on DJDZ 100 Yards 1/8 inch White Elastic Cord: Stretchy Ear Tie Rope for Sewing - Reliable Elastic Band & Rope for Handmade Crafts (100 Yard) by Kelly Caballes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's a comfortable elastic band and you can actually get it in a reasonable amount of time.

This is MUCH more convenient for masks than the string of beads I was able to get locally. The strand wasn't a full rat's nest when it arrived, but it did take a little while to unravel and wrap comfortably around the section of empty gift wrap tube. I'm a knitter - a few tangles don't bother me. My masks have a channel for the elastic so I don't sew it into the mask. It's quite thick soft cord, and I can see how a sewing machine can throw a tantrum about it. I've only washed it a couple of times so can't comment on its durability, but it seems to be retaining its elasticity. I sat and stretched a stretch like a hundred times while staring blankly into the distance because of the quarantine? All in all I'm a happy camper. With rubber. Everything else is still garbage fire, of course, but at least my masks will be comfortable. so I can't comment on its durability, but it seems to retain its elasticity.
