The sound, comfort, controls and connectivity of these headphones are great. The noise cancellation is pretty good. I've worn them across the Pacific and back with only glasses on. Adjusted a bit for comfort in the last few hours. They don't deaden all the noise of the planes, you can hear the announcements but they are too faint to be heard. The controls are well thought out and easy to use, swipe right clutch to hear ambient sounds, swipe right clutch up/down for volume, forward/backward for track. I've used them for one phone call so far, sounded great. Replaces an old pair of Bose noise cancellers. Come with an airplane or phone cord and a pouch - a hard case would be nice. I've also used them for VR gaming, no noticeable lag. I haven't tried the whxb1000 model but they have to be something special to surpass them. All in all, these are the nicest, most comfortable consumer headphones I've ever used.
