This is amazing. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. And I don't have to tie it to anything. I just toss them in a path or paddock (anywhere safe for them to eat off the ground). We get a lot of wind here in the winter so I probably won't be using them outside on the worst of days, but these bags are *heavy* even when empty so I'm sure they won't get blown away. I could agonize over the size of the opening, but in the end I think it's the right balance between small enough to slow them down significantly (and reduce waste significantly) and big enough that they don't get frustrated. And because it's heavy, they don't seem to have to hold it with their hooves. When it's almost empty they'll sniff it, but I really think it's the perfect choice for something you can just throw on the floor. I like that it is open from all sides. I have no problem closing it, although I suspect the velcro won't last long, in which case I'll have to come up with something else. And it will still be worth it.
