Review on Focal RSE-165 Auditor 6.5-inch 2-Way Component Speakers by Yoonki Baek ᠌

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

I put it without listening, so I can’t say if the same effect of overestimated frequencies is observed on other radio tape recorders like mine. The installation is made on the rings + insulation of the front doors. They play according to the statement from 60 Hz, perhaps, but they will bass only with noise and then when you add bass on the radio. After installing the front, the standard back was not audible at all (the whole scene is now in front), you will have to change the rear ones to Focal RCX 165. It’s scary to put others, if they play differently, then without an amplifier and a normal head the stage can no longer be leveled. I consider it a suitable option for replacing standard front speakers in the budget segment of a car, the main thing is not to forget to put a subwoofer and stretch it from the front speakers and not from the rear ones (the rear ones of the Polo, like many cars, are cut off at the level of the radio). Then the sound will be complete. Good luck and good sound!

Pros
  • Good speaker sensitivity 91.5 ( lied about power too) After leveling with an equalizer, they play very decently Suitable as a replacement for regular ones on Polo sedan 2022. Since the standard head is designed for 8 ohms, it swings these much louder (due to sensitivity as well) Includes plastic podiums for tweeters. If you want to be louder and reveal your full potential, you can connect it through an amplifier (the plus is that they play great without it)
Cons
  • There are slight overtones at some mid-low frequencies. (maybe a problem in the installation, or maybe in an uncoated stamped basket) The tweeters are yelling so that you are deaf, I had to greatly underestimate the HF on the radio. The tweeters look cheap like China, and they don't fit deep into the corner mirror inserts in the Polo. I had to put on the catwalks the benefit is in the kit. If you do not adjust the equalizer on a standard radio tape recorder (which was most likely not designed for component acoustics), then the low frequencies are far behind in volume from the high frequencies, the middle ones also had to be added a little to make it even.
