Holds maybe 15 pounds.

I've put up some Halloween decorations and so far they're holding up pretty well. It looks like it might bend if you hang things that are too heavy and I would suggest putting some sort of guard on the door to avoid scratching the metal. I put some small towels inside to avoid scratching.

Pros

Easy to assemble - just hang the metal hook on the door and you're done. No screws or tools required
