I don't understand why so many people complain that it's not soft enough. This is a toothbrush and you want it to be able to remove plaque. You cannot do this if your brush is too soft. If you want softness, why not just use a cotton swab instead? I used to buy it from Costco and have never had any problems with my teeth. Until one day Costco stopped selling and switched to a different Oral-B product (the one with the black handle and the softer one). Within a year of using the new product, my gums started to hurt, but I didn't realize it was a toothbrush problem. Until one day I went back to the old one, after a few days the pain was gone! So I did a few experiments, switched between the old product and the new one, and came to the conclusion that the toothbrush matters. Since Costco stopped selling it, I went to Revain to find it. The only thing that bothered me was that a third party might be selling a fake and the one I bought is the real one. I will buy more and stock up in case Oral-B stops making it in the future.
