Best Manual Toothbrush On The Market

I love this toothbrush! The head is pointed and the top angle faces outward to reach grooves that normal flat toothbrushes cannot carry. Don't waste money on anything else.

Unusual shape makes it difficult to use:

I don't know what the folks at Oral-B thought of that wobbly wobbly shape. Curves make it difficult to steer and control precisely. Perhaps there are two positions where he doesn't try to avoid. I tried replacing the (discontinued?) version on the right. Note that the handle is mostly straight. This brush is not a replacement. Its curves make it difficult to position and hold it accurately while brushing. I could feel the muscles in my arms getting tired just stopping them from turning. This is

Not soft, poor packaging

This toothbrush is not soft. It's definitely harder than the Soft Oral-B available at Costco. The packaging was also bad - the bottom part opened partially (I was able to pull the brush out from the bottom without opening any part of the packaging). Packaging itself) One of the brushes ripped halfway through - didn't notice at first as the rip was covered by the label.

Cons
  • Hard to tell

Not identical to the Original Cross Action Toothbrushes

I went in search of Oral B's Cross Action Toothbrushes when I couldn't find a style that I've been using for years. It talks about cross-action, but it's not the same as the original style. The bristles are cut differently. They clean teeth well, but not as well as the original. I continue to use a manual toothbrush as I find my teeth are cleaner than an electric one (even my dentist agrees, but I think it's because I use the Bass method of brushing my teeth dry). In any case. They don't get my

Toothbrush preferably not too soft!

I don't understand why so many people complain that it's not soft enough. This is a toothbrush and you want it to be able to remove plaque. You cannot do this if your brush is too soft. If you want softness, why not just use a cotton swab instead? I used to buy it from Costco and have never had any problems with my teeth. Until one day Costco stopped selling and switched to a different Oral-B product (the one with the black handle and the softer one). Within a year of using the new product, my…
