First impression? Thing feels pretty good. I mean it doesn't seem cheap just by holding it and looking at it. I was kinda expecting your typical cheap crunchy Chinese stuff but the plastic looks well made. The dock itself is actually hefty. It probably had a metal weight in it to give it that weight, but I have no complaints. It works the same as it does on my Windows 7 system. However, when I first inserted the SSD to test, the drive didn't show up. I had to turn the docking station off and on again. I suspect that if you turn off the power button, insert the drive, and turn on, it works fine. For the price, it looks and feels like something that costs at least double the price. The performance is sufficient for my purposes. I haven't done any tests with it. Just because I use it the way I normally use external storage. If it lasts a few years, it's definitely worth the price. Will update if I have any problems.
