My experience is rather positive. My hair is 90% gray, it used to be black. All my life I paint in black. But for the last 3 years I haven’t painted at all, my gray hair is beautiful without yellowness and everyone thinks that I have expensive highlighting). That means I bought this paint in a shade of smoky steel. Painted clean on gray. The output turned out to be wet asphalt with a purple tint. Needless to say, it turned out really well! I didn't expect purple though. I didn’t burn my hair, I didn’t have allergies, my head didn’t burn. The smell is tolerable, the balm in the package is normal. PS. In the sun, the hair shimmers awesome!
