I bought these for my little guy to wear to the water park. They allow soft-soled shoes to be worn and meet their needs by helping to protect his feet from some of the rougher walking surfaces. They stayed on all the slides (even if they're for toddlers, so nothing too complicated!) and never bothered him. He walked around wet in them all day without blisters or any irritation and didn't really try to take them off or say his feet hurt. They are also simply gorgeous, a successful combination of functionality and fashion.
