I've been embroidering since I was 7, now 71. This is one of the most disappointing sets I've ever bought. Several thread colors were not enough and you cannot compare them with standard brands. The instructions are not clear. The color symbols are often so similar that you can't tell which one it is in the artwork. I can't identify at least two of the symbols because they're too blurry on the fabric to make out what they are. I've been struggling with this for months and it's so frustrating. The colors printed on the paper images do not match the thread colors. Even if you try to guess what yarn you need, you're out of luck. There are too many flowers, and often you have to make half a dozen stitches in one place, then tie off and move on to another section that's too far away to thread under the finished work. It's poorly thought out, poorly executed, poorly packaged, and there's no way a newcomer would be thrown across the room. Fail. I will never buy this brand again. It's not even that attractive a design. It lacks focus and not much momentum.
