This is a flashlight so let's keep it simple because there really are only 4 things you buy a flashlight for. Maybe more, but these are important to me. 1.) Brightness: 5 stars. The Most Important (For me at least I don't know what's important to you in your flashlights). This thing is bright and alive. Blinking your eyes will temporarily blind you. 2.) Battery life: 5 stars. I work on cars every day, I use this flashlight on them every day. If I had to give a number, I would say 45 minutes of continuous use per day. I can usually run 3-4 weeks without changing the battery. I can live a few months if I "master" the low light before it really stops working. But I'm picky and I don't do it. 3.) Durability: 5 stars. This is my favorite part of this flashlight and that's why I gave it 5 stars. I've dropped it in an oil vat, left it on hard concrete, under the hood of a running car, etc. Nothing has damaged this lamp. And you can feel that. It does have some weight in the bag but that won't stop me from giving it a full 5 stars overall as it doesn't stop it from working for me. I need something solid and that's it. If you want a lightweight penlight I would recommend something like the Pelican brand as they are much lighter and don't sacrifice as much brightness.
