TV remotes change LED settings, incredibly annoying.

I love everything about this thing except for one fatal flaw, I've hooked it up to a Vizio TV and I have an Xfinity wired remote and they both ruin the light when I press the right button on the vizio Remote dims the light, presses the cable button on the xfinity remote and it flashes all colors very quickly. I don't get seizures, but it can trigger them if I do. If it weren't for this horrible bug I'd say it's the best LED TV backlight I've ever had, it has the most options, the brightest backlight, but there's no excuse for my other remotes to mess with it . stupid lamps.
