Very good quality and I can only hope that the inner metal is indeed stainless steel. My car has a very wide top as the headrest posts are wider on one side at the top of the seat so I had to bend one of them a bit to lay flatter so it can be used in the front seat to hold a purse strap or grocery bag with pen. The rear use of the second holder works perfectly. Overall I like these holders, they look good and do the job compared to plastic holders which tend to break over time like most hard plastics if they are too heavy to hang on to.
