Review on TIBCO Spotfire by Greg Baker

I like being able to drag and drop an entire file into the program as opposed to loading each file individually and then having to create charts manually. It does require some training to get used to it, but once you do, it's very powerful and allows you to make some great looking visualizations very quickly. There are many options for creating figures in Spotfire; however, they all look very similar and can be difficult to differentiate. You can also have difficulty finding what you're looking for when you need it. It's easy to use. The biggest problem we had was with getting our data into the program. We were using a large amount of text files and Excel spreadsheets. This took a lot of time and effort to load them into Spotfire. Once this was done, though, it made making charts much easier.
