Comparison of heaters.

My sister gave me a mug warmer Mr. Coffee 3 years ago and it was amazing. The only problem with this is the edges. Yes they are good if you are in a precarious position and want to reduce the risk of knocking your mug off the mug warmer. Very important. However, you limit the edges to circles of specific sizes and shapes. About 2 years ago I bought a Cosori mug warmer and used it at my work. A large mug fits on it so I can keep the tea warm. all day. And it gets warm enough (when set to around 212) it will actually heat your e-liquid. I can also put my small glass teapot on the stove and it retains heat very well. With this Dimux warmer, I was looking for something more Cosori-like (flatter so I can use it with my large mug and small teapots). ), but I didn't need the complexity of setting the temperature. I was also interested in the gravity function (how it turns off when you remove the mug). This is great because sometimes I'll reach for my cup and then slowly feed it with my hands. Or leave it on the table in front of me. and the torch is useless (and dangerous) at this point. As for other burners, I think it's reasonable to have them plugged in at a specific time so they turn off at a specific time, even if you accidentally leave them on. It doesn't have that need - unless you're using it as a cup holder/mug storage. Then you should plug it into an outlet with a timer, just in case. (Which I ended up doing with the smart switch. The heater has a standard two-pronged plug.) I haven't tested the auto-off and I don't know how hot this thing gets (it gets hot). All I know is that it works great for me. I just wish it had a switch to turn it off so I can put my empty pan on it. It doesn't happen with an empty cup (unless you click on it), but it does happen with my empty cooking pot. (So a smart switch is needed.) Ultimately, I like this heating pad. It's a bit big for my small end table, but works very well for a desk or countertop. It is convenient that it turns off when there is no cup on it.
