Review on ๐ŸฅŠ Impact Custom Professional MMA/Boxing/Muay Thai Mouthguard: Superior Protection for Combat Athletes by Jason Cavett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A big improvement over the cookhouse guards.

I used mouthguard for muay thai sparring and only had homemade models before I got this one. I know Everlast isn't the best brand but I used their mouthguard for a while before realizing that with a professional mouthguard I could find a better product. The main thing that struck me is how easy it is to breathe. I felt like my Everlast protector took up my entire mouth when I held it, making it very difficult to breathe and get it in and out of my mouth. This guard seems to offer a lot more support, it's easier to breathe and is pretty easy to put on and take off as it sits so well on my teeth. The only issue I have is that I feel like there is a lot more padding at the back of the mouth than at the front. That's not to say it doesn't feel protective overall, I've just noticed that my molars feel a little more protected. I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or part of what makes this mouthguard special. I took a few hits after the first day of use and felt completely confident. So if it's part of the design, I totally understand why it helps.
