Great cans! I would probably just use coffee filters or some tissue paper to cover the top instead of the cotton gauze that came with it. Insects can still break through loose tissue and get at your kombucha. Although the rubber bands provided are good. The worst thing about buying these cans is that the seller doesn't stop emailing you and asking you to look at the cans. Even after checking the cans, he sends you two more emails at different times asking you to leave a review. I get guy reviews for the same money and if you're not paying for it it can be hard to keep up. I just don't like getting all the emails, that's all.
