I have had a watch for about 20 years and the movement failed two years ago. I'm having trouble finding a movement with the correct dimensions - stem length and threaded stem - measure carefully. It fits perfectly and keeps time for over 24 hours with my beautiful Seiko quartz watch. The battery is very firmly in place, but it goes in and stays in, which is good for a wall clock. The minute hand was a bit long but I trimmed the tip 1/2 inch with scissors. Very easy. I didn't need a second hand so I gave up - at my age I can't do anything in seconds.
